Today wasn't my day - spent most of it on the couch, wondering what kind of shit is airing on TV. At least I finished the new layout. Only some minor tweaks have to be made until I'm satisfied. And the CSS for the three columns is written. Now I only have to dig myself deep into the wordpress-documentation to get all the nifty features in the theme I want to have. But after all coding I needed a break. Actually I wanted to either draw Rude or Cloud, but I ended up with yet another Tseng-Sketch. ( Cig break )Gun and cigarette included ... AND yet another kink of mine - a guy in a kimono-something...
Sat, Aug. 8th, 2009, 01:22 pm [fanart] Elena - Oh boys
Oh Boys by ~Ka-bu-ki on deviantARTGood thing about the H1N1 flu (or common 'Swine Flu') is that I have some time. Time for torturing my graphic tablet for example. Practice painting in Painter. Although Elena turned out to be slightly AU. Probably influenced by Nocti's and my story arc. Hey, she has to take care of her idiots boys. And with those close by, there's no time for make-up (I'm still traumatized by Girly!Elena) </a>
Sun, Aug. 2nd, 2009, 07:20 pm Breaking News: Gacktesis smokes!!!
... the proof was given at the Train-station in Hamm on the way back from the animagic2009. I had such a great weekend - maybe the make up for the whole last week. It started with more stress than necessary. And a major headache. First I had a car, then not, then my brother stepped in, then he decided that he felt uncomfortable with me driving the long distance to Bonn. So he gave me the train-ticket as early birthday present. To cut a long story short - Sweet Gwen and I made it to the convention in the end ... nearly in time. We found Noc pretty soon and started one of our favorite activities: trash-talking. Some of the cosplays were a pain in the eye not so good. But others were just breathtaking. Although the stress of the week before took it's toll - I wasn't as talkative as usual and my neck was stiff and hurt like hell - it was so awesome to watch all the great costumes. The whole atmosphere was amazing. Unfortunately I neither had a ticket for the con itself nor any money to spent on books, films or posters. (Birthday is 4 days too late. Or the con was too early ;_; ) And I could only stay for Saturday. On the way back I met some more really nice people - including the smoking Genesis and a group of Visus'. And had a long debate with my inner-self. I will be at the Connichi for sure. And this time not as civilian. Maybe I even finish my Mononoke-Cos till then. (And then I have no reason to back up from LARP's anymore *sigh*- with some changes the outfit works also for my planned character. A ' medicine'-seller *cough* ) (Sorry, this seems to turn into a Socks Missing in Action-Post) Today was the day, I was really afraid of. My Dad's fiftieth birthday. And after all the screwed up stuff which happened the last weeks I was so horrified that I would mess things up. But ... everything went completely smooth. I managed to clean up my whole apartment. And my cake was a blast. Chemistry in its purest form. But it tasted good. And the best: No arguments at all with my parents and grandparents. For a change a really nice and relaxing weekend. ^_^

To put it the nice way: the weekend was fucked up wasn't like I expected it to be. It was nice in the end, but not at all, like it should have been. I'm still pretty depressed about it, and about other not really good news. So I keep any updates to harmless blabla. Another news from the wired makes me a semi happy bunny. Castelvania comes to the movies, directed by James Wan, who also directed and produced the first Saw-Movie (the only one I liked, but that's my humble opinion). A mixture of horror, gore and bishonen is the stuff I need at the moment. Fri, Jul. 24th, 2009, 09:43 am gimme popcorn plz
It's Comic-Con and I wish I could be there. (OK - I'm visiting Noc for the weekend... and I'm such a happy bunny. Munich is nearly as good as the Comic-Con ... no, it's better because I'm with my girls .) But trying to be up to date I stumpled upon a news which made my day - My favorite nun seems to hit the big screen. And this time I hope it will be a fun B-movie to watch. Most comic adaptions seem to follow the same pattern of trashy concept art and crude storyline (excluding Watchmen and the latest Batman-movies). Perfect, if you have some good friends around, popcorn and booze. Reminds me - I have to stuff some DVD's in my backpack Wed, Jul. 22nd, 2009, 09:00 pm Ugg
... I'm tired, exhausted, a little bit pissed off. And when I feel that way, I have either the urge for blood and violence or fluff. Tonight I'm in a rather fluffy mood, freaked already twice today. And so I do what I wanted to do the goddamn last week: DRAW! The new tablet rocks. I only have to get used to it. And: Size matters not !!!Tue, Jul. 21st, 2009, 08:06 pm Neuromancer
If there's one book that influenced my taste in music, style, art and everything else it must be William Gibson's Neuromancer. I don't know how many times I have reread it. And still a shiver runs down my spine when I come across lines like 'The bartender's smile widened. His ugliness was the stuff of legend. In an age of affordable beauty, there was something heraldic about his lack of it.Words you can't express in a movie. You just can not. But obviously somebody is trying hard to do so. At IMDB Neuromancer is announced for 2011. I'm pretty skeptic about it. Back in 2007 it was already a rumor - and we remember Johnny Mnemonic? A great movie if you're into sci-fi trash (and I admit I am) - but it has nothing not much in common with the short story by Gibson except for the names of the main characters. Keanu Reeves looks good, Takeshi Kitano is as cool as usual and that's it. The special effects are cheap and overdosed, the scenery could be taken out of a TV-Series produced in the early 90's. But maybe there's hope. My favorite movie is based on a novel too. And Ridley Scott did hell of a good job with Blade Runner. , 27 years later the concept design is awesome. And I'm pretty sure, I'm not the only one who believes it was a visual milestone for cinematography. Back in 1984 lots of the stuff described in Neuromancer sounded futuristic. With ' a mash of punk, technology, noir and metaphysics' the book was ahead of it's time. Today cyberpunk is surrounding us, is part of our daily life. We're so used to stay connected with people all over the world, twitter what we're doing ( even if we're in the middle of a bank robbery), and know what an AI is. So maybe - just maybe - it's already too late for Neuromancer to hit the big screen. And I'm only afraid that one of the books which had this great personal impact on me ends up as just another generic Soon-to-be-real-movie. Mon, Jun. 1st, 2009, 12:28 pm No, I don't have a gun-kink
... and the sun turns around the earth. Never ever ask me if I take out the pest in the ass dog before I haven't had my coffee. It may result in a reaction similar to Tseng's.
Sat, May. 30th, 2009, 02:33 am more fluff
Blame it all on 0_noctifer_0!!! I just wanted to sketch one image. And ended up with three. Really rough sketches, no clean line-art. ( Rufus and Tseng )
Fri, May. 29th, 2009, 12:57 pm Blame 0_noctifer_0
really - she's bitching that I have to work on the doujinshi. And poor me is sick. And if the poor bunny's sick, she becomes fluffy ...
Fri, May. 29th, 2009, 10:41 am Random Things
first, the *mimimi*: I'm sick - have caught a nasty cold. And it's all my mom's fault. Whole family is dying suffering. Dad and brother need reservations at the nearby cemetery. This leads me to the next point: True Blood. Living in Germany sometimes means you miss all the good shows or get 'em a year later on TV. An article at Spiegel Online caught my attention. And thanks to the WWW I'm now addicted. Although I tried to stay away from all the vampire-hype. I still love my Ann Rice-books, but haven't read Twilight yet. And don't plan to do so. I'm old nostalgic, I know. One who prefers the old White Wolf-RPG system Vampire - the Masquerade above Requiem. But True Blood is really cool, like most HBO shows. Alone the opening credits are damn stylish. And STYLISH is the next buzzword. That 0_noctifer_0's taste in music is strange exquisite is a fact. And she really is inside me. Otherwise I have no rational explanation for the fact that I really like Emiliana Torrini's Jungle Drum. Perfect sound while painting the kitchen walls. And I make progress. Nearly done with the whole apartment. Walls look great. Will get such a funky crystal chandelier for my kitchen. And I am so excited about moving in the new apartment. And so proud of myself.

the reason why I have to steal my dad's digital camera - I love macro shots. Pure beauty. When I finally have some time I really have to get into it. natural mirror by ~rdd on deviantARTFri, May. 22nd, 2009, 09:11 am Rufus sketches
and I came to the conclusion that all Final Fantasy VII Characters have the same hairdresser - damn, gravity does not apply for Cloud's, Reno's or even Rufus' hairdo. Would love to own the kind of hairspray they use. Then I wouldn't have to run away from my own reflection in the mirror. My muse is still a little bit grumpy. I have so much on my mind, that I have no nerve to write anything. Although a nasty plotbunny is eating the dandelion leaves in my brain. I have no clue why I feel the urge to write a oneshot from Scarlett's POV. But I work again on the Doujinshi-project, Noctifer and me started last year. Since there was no hot sex-scene not much dialogue between Rufus and Tseng in ACC we have to do our own fanservice. Tue, May. 19th, 2009, 07:23 pm Fun with fonts

Mon, May. 18th, 2009, 09:21 am I love my friends
Sweethearts 0_noctifer_0 and sweetgwen are paying me a visit this upcoming weekend. ( *me does happy dance* ) and Nocti posted this image at her blog: Of course - now that I'm back in the city I was born at all the jokes about the infamous Bielefeld Conspiracy are coming up again. And maybe I'm really nostalgic and sentimental, but moving back here it's not as bad as I believed it to be. Public traffic still sucks, the buildings are ugly and the Detmolder Strae is a mess. Home is where the ♥ is. And I need all the ugliness, dirt and architectural disasters around me.

Just dig myself deeper into the secrets of 3dsmax. And I shouldn't model when I'm stressed. The results are ... strange. First clay render looks nice and smooth. Damn, I've started so many times over that I have no problem at all to speedmodel a stupid cup. And if it was only for an image, I would leave everything as it is. But take a closer look at the mesh: It has a touch of modern art - and I have no clue what I did to the poor mesh.

snagged from ani-mama Your result for The Social Persona Test (What kind of man/woman are you?)...
The Renaissance Faire Wench (QLAF)Quirky Liberal Alpha Female
The hardest part about being the Renn. Faire Wench is that people often mistake you for a beta female. This is not so. You might be quite flirtatious, but you are hardly relient on men. You like to do things the mainstream would consider weird, (like dress in costume, perhaps?). Eat, drink, and be merry, but make sure whoever you date respects you and does not take advantage of your laid-back attitude. (BTW, you are likely the only type who can see That Creepy Guy (NLBM) for who he is, helping him to bring out the Manga Geek (QLBM) inside. This does not mean you have to date one, however. You are quite flexible and can enjoy the company of many of the types.) You are more QUIRKY than NORMAL. You are more LIBERAL than TRADITIONAL. You are more DOMINANT than PASSIVE. When picking a date, consider: The Lord of the Misfits (QLAM), The Fratt Boy (NLAM), The Snowball's Chance in Hell (QTBM), The Manga Geek (QLBM), or That Creepy Guy (NLBM).(Image from http://www.buycostumes.com/Lock-Lace-Bodice-Navy-Renaissance-Collection-Adult/27296/ProductDetail.aspx) Take The Social Persona Test (What kind of man/woman are you?) at HelloQuizzy
